Customer data protection declaration

The purpose of this data protection declaration is to explain how Alpine Elite di Rossella Gatti, Collina d'Oro treats the personal data of its customers.

2. Personal data and purpose of use

Within the framework of the mandate contract, we process the following personal data:

  • Client data and data for the purpose of managing the mandate: first name, surname and contact details of the contact persons, function and title, company/department, sector, possible interrelationships (e.g. partners or close relatives) and other basic information from publicly accessible sources (e.g. Commercial Register), possible person who gave the firm's reference, content of the requests and mandate, counterparties and their representatives, as well as other information necessary to examine the existence of potential conflicts of interest.
  • Mandate-related data: communications with clients and third parties, information transmitted in the course of the mandate by or on behalf of clients
  • Performance and billing data: information on services provided and billed, billing data, bill of services, invoices, payments, bank details.
  • Additional information: information on the use of the newsletter and participation in events, as well as other information provided by customers.

Personal data is processed primarily for the purpose of providing, documenting, invoicing and improving our services. Your personal data is also processed to communicate with you, to respond to your requests and to send you newsletters, information about Alpine Elite and invitations to events, courses, conferences or presentations. If you do not wish to receive newsletters or invitations, you can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in the e-mail or by notifying the person in charge of data processing mentioned in point 1.

3. Transmission of personal data

We do not pass on any personal data to third parties without the consent of the person concerned, unless this is in connection with the execution of the mandate or is necessary for the purposes described in this data protection declaration. In particular, information may be passed on to other parties and experts within the scope of the execution of the mandate. In addition, we may transmit personal data to commissioned parties, in particular to IT service providers and other service providers who, at our request, provide IT applications (e.g. collaboration platforms), support services and other services for the purposes specified in this data protection declaration.

4. Right of the persons whose data is processed

Persons whose data is processed have the right to request information in accordance with Article 8 of the Federal Data Protection Act of 19 June 1992 (DPA) and, following its entry into force, in accordance with Article 25 of the Federal Data Protection Act of 25 September 2020. Insofar as the processing is based on the data subject's consent, the data subject has the right to revoke his or her consent at any time with effect for the future. In addition, other rights conferred by the applicable data protection law may be invoked. In order to exercise these rights, the data subject may contact the data processor referred to in Section 1. The request will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable data protection law. The response to such a request may also be denied or limited in accordance with legal provisions. In addition, the data subject has the option, in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act, to contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch).

5. Changes to this data protection declaration

An amendment of this data protection declaration may be necessary, for example in case of a change in legislation or a change in the way personal data is processed. In this case, the new version will be published on the Alpine Elite website. As a rule, customers are informed by e-mail if changes are made to this declaration.
